Fort Calhoun City Marshal Died Monday In Omaha Hospital

Funeral services for Herman Frederick Klahn, 66, city marshal at Fort Calhoun, were held yesterday at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Norman Fowler officiating. Burial in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Klahn died suddenly Monday morning in an Omaha hospital, where he had been a patient for almost two weeks. He was born June 14, 1886, at Washington and lived most of his life in Washington County.

Survivors include his wife, Ada, who worked at the Blair Hospital a number of years; one daughter, Mrs. Carlos Dey, Fort Calhoun and one granddaughter; four brothers; Henry and William Klahn, Fort Calhoun; Ben Klahn, Walthill and John Klahn, Omaha; six sisters, Mrs. Charley Miller, Fort Calhoun; Mrs. Emma Jensen and Mrs. Al Segelberg, both of Omaha; Mrs. Ida White, Townsend, Mont.; Mrs. Lily Drake, Scottsbluff, and Mrs. Frank Crom, Decatur.

The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
