Mrs. Elizabeth Stearns died in Omaha Saturday, aged 82 years. Bishop A. L. Williams conducted the funeral services at the home of her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Stearns, and the remains were taken to St. Johns, Mich., for burial. Deceased was the widow of an Episcopal clergyman who died in Omaha some years ago and the mother of Ed Stearns, a former bookkeeper for B. M. Wilsey and clerk in the postoffice here in the early eighties. Deceased and her husband and daughter were well-known to many Blair people a quarter of a century ago.
