Word has been received by relatives in Blair that George Allen, 87, of Ault, Colorado, passed away June 9.

Mr. Allen was born on a farm west of Blair. His parents, the Joseph Allens, were homesteaders in Washington County.

Survivors include his wife, of Ault, Colorado, a nephew, Lynn Armstrong and a cousin, Harriett Jaenike, of Blair.
