LILLIAN LAVONNE SWANSON, 74

Lillian LaVonne Swanson,74, died Thursday, March 27, 1997 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Services were March 29 at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church in Fort Calhoun. Rev. Gregg Miller officiated. Burial was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Swanson was born in Red Oak, Iowa, Oct. 10, 1922 to Clayton and Goldie Smith. She attended Fort Calhoun High Schoool and attended Omaha University in Omaha. On July 15, 1942, she married Harold Swanson. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Fort Calhoun Women's Club, Past Matrons, Daughters of the Nile and the Cemetery Association.

She was a member of Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church and was clerk of session, UPWA.

Survivors are her husband, Harold; her sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Sharon Swanson; Gregory Swanson and Joel and Kim Swanson; daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Mark Graff and Nancy and Mark Prauner; grandchildren, Shelly Swanson, Jaime Swanson, Renee Swanson, Kristine Graff, David Graff, Laura Graff, Stefanie Graff, Paul Graff, Elizabeth Graff; John Prauner, Todd Prauner, Seth Prauner and Anne Prauner; a great-grandson, Tyler; and a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Charles Davey.

Pallbearers were Steve Davey, Scott Davey, Kurt Davey, David Schneider, John Prauner and David Graff.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
