GLADYS STEELE
Gladys R. Steele, 87, a resident of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, died June 10, 1987, at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair.
She was born October 19, 1899, in Blair to Clement and Sarah (Gilliland) Halsted.
She married James S. Steele. He preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held Friday, June 12, 1987 at the Blair Cemetery. Rev. David Nystrom officiated.
Pallbearers were Roy Kirk, Patrick Kirk, Earl Kirk, Bryce Woodring, B. H. Keeran and Robert Noyes.
She is survived by sons, Roy Kirk of Blair; Earl Kirk of California; Junior E. Kirk of Santa Rosa, California; Dwight Steele of California; by seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and by brothers, Floyd Halsted of Redman, Oregon, and Zeke Halsted of Porterville, California.
