ELSIE STEFFEN, 54
Services for Elsie Iva Steffen of Blair will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 1987 at the Assembly of God Church in Blair with Rev. Perry C. Baublitz officiating.
Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Wagnerowski, Don Rodasky, Ray Thompson, Darrel Howard, Gary Trisdale and Lynn Steffen.
She died Saturday, November 14, 1987 and was living with her son Russell at the time of her death.
Elsie was born February 8, 1933 in Alexandria, South Dakota to Lyle and Rosie (Gilliland) Stricklett.
She was a life-long resident of Blair, and was a nurse’s aide at Crowell Memorial at one time. Elsie was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Steffen, two sons and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include sons Tim Buford of Sioux City, Iowa; and Russell Steffen of Blair; daughter Janet (Steffen) Tiffey of Missouri Valley; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. William (Margaret) Trisdale of Blair and Mrs. Raymond (Verna) Johnson of York, and many friends.
