SERVICES FOR STEFFEN TUESDAY
Funeral services for Fredrick D. Steffen will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, at the Assembly of God Church, 1432 Washington St., Blair. Rev. Arthur Diaz will officiate, accompanied by organist Clare Cowing and vocalist Tamara Diaz. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery.
Fredrick, 51, was born in Blair in 1933 to Julius and Nellie (David) Steffen. He died Friday, August 24, at his home. He resided in Blair with his wife Elsie (Stricklett) Steffen, who survives.
Other survivors include sons Tim Steffen of Sioux City, Iowa; Michael Steffen and Russell Steffen, both of Fremont; daughter Mrs. Janet Tiffey of Missouri Valley, Iowa; eight grandchildren; brothers, Emmett Steffen of Missouri Valley and Frank Steffen of Iowa. One son preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Gary Trisdale, Bob Trisdale, Lynn Steffen, Wayne Stricklett, Robert Thompson and Darrell Howard.
