MRS. SWANSON SERVICES AT KENNARD APRIL 12

Funeral services for Mabel Elizabeth Swanson will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. The Rev. Wayne Josephson officiating.

Mrs. Swanson was born on May 18, 1902, at Kennard, Nebraska to Henry & JoHanna Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed at Emmaus Lutheran Church. She was married to Harry Swanson on December 16, 1922. They celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary last December.

Her survivors include husband Harry, sons, Donald of Thurston, Howard of Walthill; daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elaine) Fredlick of Bettendorf, Iowa; Mrs. Russell (Clara) Connelly and Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Juul, both of Omaha; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Leslie Jensen of Seattle, Wash., Oscar and Albert Jensen of Blair; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Bertha) Jacobs and Mrs. Roy (Ella) Rahlfs, both of Blair and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Swanson passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon at the age of 75.

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Donald Swanson, Jr., Steven Connelly, David Fredlick, Jim Swanson, Scott Juul and Kenny Boyd.

Interment will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

The Campbell Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Blair Rescue Squad or Emmaus Lutheran Church.
