HANS STEMMERMANN BURIED JANUARY 29 AT MISSOURI VALLEY

Hans Stemmermann, 73 of 1450 Broad St., Fremont, NE., died Thursday morning, Jan. 27, 1977 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, NE.

He was formerly a long time farmer southwest of Missouri Valley. For many years since he has made his home in Nebraska, first at Blair and then in Fremont.

He had been a patient in the Blair hospital and had undergone surgery.

Mr. Stemmermann was born in Walnut, IA, Jan. 18, 1904, the son of John and Emma Meister Stemmermann.

He never married.

He is survived by two brothers, Paul Stemmermann of 1915 Nye Ave., Fremont, NE and Waldo Stemmermann of 5128 Evans, Omaha, NE; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Miller of Fremont, NE.

Funeral services were held at the Hennessey-Van Cleave and Hurley Chapel in Missouri Valley at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29 with Don Robinson, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Organ selections were played by Mrs. E. E. Gochenour.

Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Missouri Valley.

Pallbearers were Raymond Wilke, Henry Wilke, Jr., Robert McNew, Charles McNew, Francis Miller and Ed Miller.
