Farrand E. Baker

F.E. Baker, who lived out southwest of town, went to bed Sunday night at about 10 o’clock in his usual good health, but upon lying down his heart bothered him. A doctor was sent for but before he arrived Mr. Baker was dead. The funeral will be held at the house today at 2 o’clock, Dr. Markley officiating. Mr. Baker moved over here two years ago in March from Logan, Ia., and was very comfortably situated on his little farm. He was born March 17, 1844, and was an old soldier. He leaves a wife and three children, Frank and Nellie and one married daughter, Mrs. Ellis Horton.
