At three o’clock Wednesday morning Mrs. Samuel Axtell passed away in an Omaha hospital where she had been a patient since Easter

She was born in Council Bluffs on October 28, 1869. At the age of 19 years she was married to Samuel Axtell and to them seven children were born, Mrs. Walter Servis of McAllister, Oklahoma; Leonard of Blair; Lester of Standard, California; Chris of Blair; Mrs. Sarah Gilliam of Blair, Orval and Mrs. Lulu Osborn of Blair.

The family moved to Blair in 1914 from Mondamin, Iowa and this has been their home since. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from the Campbell Mortuary and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.

Note: Bertha is buried in Blk 97 Lot 5 Grave 6 in the Blair Cemetery. Death date was 3 June 1942. FAG # 110801367.
