Lena Lydia Jensen, age 91, of Blair, died March 29, 2015 at Crowell Home in Blair. Services will be held at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Services times are currently pending. Burial will follow services in the Blair Cemetery.

Lena Lydia Jensen was born on May 18, 1923 in Phillipsburg, Missouri to Loran and Mabel (Prosser) Layman. She attended school at Kindred School District 18 and The Hill Creek School District 36. On January 6, 1942 she was united in marriage to Hans Ernest Jensen in Blair, Nebraska.

Lena enjoyed reading, flower gardening, raising chickens, collecting and trying new receipes, and spending time with her two German shepherds.

She is survived by her siblings, Jaunita Pendergraft, Wilbur Layman and Florence Crowder; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hans Ernest Jensen; sister, Alberta Carlson Strom; and brother Forest Layman.
