Funeral services for Robert Eugene Frye Jr., age 53, of Blair, were held at 10:00AM Monday March 30, 2015 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment followed services in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday beginning at 3:00PM with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00PMand a vigil at 7:00PM.

Mr. Frye died March 25, 2015 at his home in Blair.

Robert Eugene Frye Jr. was born on August 18, 1961 in Blair, Nebraska to Robert and Barbara (Colgan) Frye. He was raised in Herman, NE and attended and graduated from Tekamah-Herman HS in 1980. He farmed before beginning to work for Peck Manufacturing in 1981. On July 16, 1982, he was united in marriage to Teresa Solis. To this union two children were born. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with family & friends boating, camping, and fishing. Many of the family vacations involved the outdoors at state & national parks. As an avid Husker fan, Saturdays during the fall revolved around the NE football schedule. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the joys of his grandchildren.

Mr. Frye is survived by his wife, Teresa Frye of Blair; son, Matt (Betsy Lee) Frye of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Melissa Frye of Omaha; grandchildren: Jonah, Emery, Eloise, Isley; sister, Debra (Roger) Larsen of Herman, NE; brother, Ralph (Myrna) Frye of Chandler, AZ; sister, GayLynne Beadle of Mesa, AZ; mother-in-law, Shirley Solis; sister-in-law, Debra (Mike) Anderson, Jerry (Julie) Solis Jr.; and brother-in-law, Paul Solis.
