Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 4 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Omaha for Michael Klingforth, 78 of Omaha, who died at his residence July 31, 1993. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Michael Ervin Klingforth was born April 17, 1915 at Center, Nebraska to Edward and Mary Ellen O’Donnell Klingforth. His family moved to Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska where he attended school and graduated from Ft. Calhoun High School.

On September 8, 1940 he married Clara Hansen at the Florence Presbyterian Church. They moved to Omaha in 1943 and resided there until his death.

He was employed with the Roberts Dairy until retiring in 1977.

He had been a member of the Covenant Presbyterian church since 1943 and had served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Clara; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and J.W. Simpson, Chevy Chase, Maryland and Joyce and Boe Swift, Omaha; daughter, Jeri Scheef, Omaha; seven grand-children, Carri and Jaime Simpson, Molly and Ben Swift, Marc and Jenny Olson, Becky Scheef; one great-granddaughter, Jesica Scheef; two brothers, Ray Klingforth, Blair and Joe Klingforth, Omaha; three sisters, Agnes Brady, Gresham, Oregon; Lena Justis, Portland, Oregon and Eula Brundage, Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
