D.E. Spickler Died Sunday

Funeral Services To Be Held Tuesday at 2 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Delos Elliott Spickler, 81 years of age, 101 North 23rd Street, who died Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital.

The services will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. Walter Shattuck officiating, with interment in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Spickler is survived by his wife, Ollie; brothers, Otis, Malen and John Spickler; and a sister, Mrs. Esther Walden; and a grandson, Kirby Spickler.

Mr. Spickler was born Nov. 8, 1883 in Richardson County, Nebraska. For many years, prior to his retirement, he operated the Blair Distributing Co. on Front Street.

Pallbearers will be Norman Buckhart, Earl Kahlandt, Rudy Fick, of Blair; Harold Gumb of Fremont; Harold Thomas of Norfolk and Charles Scheinost of Norfolk.

The Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
