Elizabeth N. "Betty" Beerbohm, 73

Elizabeth N. “Betty” Beerbohm of Fremont died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 1 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with Lay Minister Michael Meyer of Trinity Lutheran Church of Fremont officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Elizabeth N. Beerbohm was born July 17, 1927 in Blair to James and Beula (Cushman) Cooper. She grew up in Blair and Fremont. She worked as a waitress and cook in a restaurant in Fremont, and later worked at A.T. & T. in Millard for 18 years.

On Sept. 6, 1946, she married Lyle F. A. Beerbohm in Topeka.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle, a son and daughter-in-law, James and Lea Cooper of Colorado, daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Rolland Thurlow of Hewitt, Texas, a daughter -in-law, Joyce Magnum of Fremont, brother, Donald Cooper of Salt Lake City, Utah, sister, Maxine Hooper of Fremont, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Terry Beerbohm, a brother, Fern Cooper, and three sisters, Lavina, Lois and June.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
