Services for Francis D. "Pete" Behm, 72 of Missouri Valley, Iowa who died September 12, 1995 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley were Friday, September 15 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley. Rev. James Kieffman officiated. Burial was in the Calhoun Cemetery in Missouri Valley.

Francis D. Behm was born December 30, 1922 in Missouri Valley to Frank and Irene Hobbs Behm. He married Shirley Kocour April 27, 1944 in Missouri Valley.

He farmed in Harrison County and was employed as a machinist for Wilkinson Manufacturing in Fort Calhoun. He was a member of St Patrick's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Starla Hember.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Missouri Valley; daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Edward Gdowski of Logan, Iowa and Roberta and Marlyn Anderson of Mondamin; a sister and brother-in-law, Phoebe Ann and Cal Hulsebus of Dow City, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Maurice and Jean of Northrup, Maine; Carl and Jan of Woodbine, Iowa; Max of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Louis and Bernadine of Missouri Valley; grandchildren, Sheri Lash, Brenda Hember, Don Powers, Jason Mace, Kristi Hart and great-grandchildren, Zachary Hember, Jarodd Hember, and Kelsey Stoneking.

Hennessey-Hurley-Aman Funeral Home of Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
