Frances M. Bowser, 91, of Fort Calhoun, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, in Omaha.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Frances M. Bowser was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Ponca.

She married Leroy Bowser on May 26, 1950, in Topeka, Kan.

From 1950 to the mid 1950s, the couple lived in Blair. They then moved to St. Paul, Minn., where they lived from 1958 to 1965. They resided in El Paso, Texas, from 1965 to 1976, from 1976 to 1988, they lived in Yukon, Okla. From 1988 to the present, they have resided in Fort Calhoun.

Mrs. Bowser is survived by her husband, Leroy; son, Richard, of Fort Calhoun; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue Department.
