Miss Ann O'Brien received the sad news Monday evening that her only brother, William, died at 5 o'clock that afternoon at Fort Flagler, Wash. He was a soldier in the regular army and his three years enlistment period would have expired October 2nd. He was 29 years of age the 30th of last May. The many friends of Miss O'Brien extend their heartfelt sympathy in her bereavement. She has only one sister living now, Mrs. Chas. Fassnacht, at Lewiston, Idaho.

Miss Anna O’Brien received word last Saturday evening of the death of her brother, William, at Fort Flagler, Washington. Mr. O’Brien had been in the infantry out there for nearly three years, and would have been mustered out in October, when he expected to come back to Blair. Deceased was 29 years old and was well known here, having left here about five years ago, and spent nearly two years in south Dakota before going west.
