VERA O'CONNELL, 92

Services for Vera Frances O'Connell, 92, who died December 8, 1990 at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 11 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Galas will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Omaha.

Vera Frances O'Connell was born August 31, 1898 in Wakefield, Nebraska to Ira Phillip and Nellie Manning Wilhelm. She graduated from Wakefield High School and then taught school in the Wakefield area until her marriage.

She married Daniel O'Connell in Sioux City, Iowa in July, 1925. After their marriage they moved to Omaha where she resided until 1985. At that time she moved to Blair.

She was an active member of the Holy Cross Catholic chuch Altar Society where she was a member for over 40 years. The last several years she was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Omaha.

She was preceded in death by her husband in October, 1976; her parents; and one brother, Loren C. Wilhelm.

She is survived by one sister, Mildred Stronberg of Blair; a niece, Pamela (Mrs. Roger) Petersen of Blair and several other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer Association.
