Geraldine Clements, 88, of Blair, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Shepherd’s Village in Blair. Funeral services were held June 12, at the Herman Community Church, with interment in the Herman Cemetery.

Geraldine Clements was born April 10, 1916, at a farm west of Herman to Arthur and Hannah (Andersen) Magill. She graduated from Tekamah High School in 1934.

On Nov. 30, 1938, she married Vernon Clements in Omaha. They lived on the farm from 1948 until 1985, when they moved to Blair.

Mrs. Clements was a homemaker, a life-long member of the Herman Baptist Church, a member of the Burt County South Sunshine Extension Club for more than 50 years, and also belonged to the Herman Card Club. She enjoyed traveling, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Alvin Pechnik, of Blair, four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother Melvin Magill of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; sister, Mardelle Grothe; brothers, Harold, Floyd, Raymond Sr., and A. I. Magill.

Memorials are suggested to Shepherd’s Village or the Herman Community Church. Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
