Services for Irene Clements, 95, who died at the Tekamah Senior Citizen Home March 6, 1992, were held 2 p.m. Monday, at the First Baptist Church in Blair with burial in the Herman Cemetery.

Irene Lowe was born on July 17, 1896 at Herman, Nebraska to Huit and Rosalie Montgomery Lowe. She received her education at Herman.

She married Claude Clements February 14, 1914 at Blair. They farmed in the rural Herman area until 1936 at which time they moved to the city of Herman. In 1942, they moved to Blair where they lived until moving to the Tekamah Senior Citizens Home in April, 1984.

She worked for the Coast-to-Coast store and Copes Restaurant for many years. She was a past member of the Herman Eastern Star and First Baptist Church in Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, one brother and one sister.

Surviving her are her sons, Vernon, Eugene, and Wilbur Clements, all of Blair; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

Memorial may be directed to the First Baptist Church.
