MRS. CLEMENTS BURIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Gene Clements passed away at the Blair Community Memorial Hospital on Sunday afternoon, March 5th.

Myrle French was born August 25, 1913 near Arlington, Nebraska to Mrs. Bessie Rhoades and the late Hallie French.

After graduating from Blair High School, she attended Dana College and taught in the Washington County schools for a few years. She also did office work in Omaha and in the Washington County Court House.

On February 2, 1946 she was united in marriage to Eugene Clements. To this union were born four children, Milo (Mike) age 12, Patricia 9, Roger, 7 and Saylor 5.

Besides her husband and four children she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Bessie Rhoades, a sister, Mrs. Robert Poore (Grace) of Kansas City and a brother H. Ray French of Omaha.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 8th at the First Baptist Church in Blair. The Rev. Gilbert Reiland officiated. The Bendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Philip O’Hanlon, Alfred Sick, W.L. Svendgaard, Bud Robinson, Floyd Triplett and Fritz Wolff.
