Arlene Klug, 66

Funeral services for Arlene L. Klug, 66, of Arlington were held Monday, November 2, 1987, at St. Pau’s Lutheran Church, north of Arlington. Pastor Craig Schultz of Fremont officiated.

Pallbearers were Steve Dickmeyer, Ronnie, Larry and Terry Brengelman, Jerry Bradford, Ross Brainard, Jeff and Jamie Anderson and Darin Sievers.

She died October 30, 1987, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha from Luekemia.

Arlene Juedes was born November 29, 1920 in Gurley to Albert and Clara Carolina (Thiemann) Juedes. She lived in Gurley and Nampa, Idaho, before moving to Arlington in 1946. On January 26, 1938, she married Frederick E. Klug in Gurley. He preceded her in death on October 3, 1979.

Mrs. Klug was active with wall papering and painting in the Arlington area for 25 years.

She was a member of Fairacres Bowling League for 30 years, and was inducted into the Fremont Bowling Hall of Fame in 1978.

Mrs. Klug is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Leila) Warlick of Rawlins, Wyoming, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Brengelman of Waterloo; Mrs. Jean Wildrich of Green River, Wyoming, Mrs. Jim (Doni) Brainard of Fremont and Mrs. Lynn (Dianna) Sievers of Fremont, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Anderson of Kennard and Cheryl Klug of Omaha; two brothers, Edwin Jeudes of Arlington and Raymond Juedes of Nampa, Idaho, sister Mrs. Ernest (Esther) Frerichs of Gurley, 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Florence Wynia and Viola Mosel.

She was a 41-year member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Arlington, and was very active in bowling for 33 years.

Memorials are suggested to the church, the Lutheran Hour, the Arlington Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society.

Arlene Lydia Regina Klug, the daughter of Albert and Clara Carolina (Thiemann) Juedes was born at Gurley, Nebraska on November 29, 1920. She lived at Gurley and Nampa, Idaho until moving to Arlington in 1946. She was a homemaker and died wall papering and painting in the area for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for 41 years. Arlene was active in bowling for 31 years. She was a member of the Fairacres Bowling League for 30 years, and was inducted into the Fremont Bowling Hall of Fame in 1978.

Arlene married Frederick E. Klug on January 26, 1938 in Gurley, Nebraska. He died on October 3, 1979.

She passed from this life, Friday, October 30, 1987 at the age of 66 years, 11 months and 1 day, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. She is survived by 7 daughters. Mrs. Floyd (Leila) Warlick of Rawlins, Wyoming, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Brengelman of Waterloo, Mrs. Jim (Doni) Brainard and Mrs. Lynn (Diana) Sievers both of Fremont, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Anderson of Kennard and Miss Cheryl Klug of Omaha; 2 brothers, Edwin Juedes of Arlington and Raymond Juedes of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Esther) Frerichs of Gurley; 15 grnadchildren and 5 great-grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 2 sisters, Florence Wynia and Viola Mosel.
