Dennis L. Bartlett, 74, of Tekamah, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at his daughter’s home in rural Tekamah.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in Mt Hope Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7 p.m.

Dennis Lee Bartlett was born Aug. 8, 1934, in Omaha, to James and Ester (Demerest) Bartlett.

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from June of 1953 until May of 1955.

He operated a towing service in Omaha.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna Bartlett of Tekamah, and Gloria Bartlett of Council Bluffs, Iowa; stepchildren, Bernard Oddo of Omaha, Annie Smith of St. Joe, Mo.; Carol Thompson of Washington, Kan.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Bartlett of Omaha.
