William Knecht Died At The Age of 83

William Henry Knecht passed away at the age of 83 in the Arbor Manor Home at Fremont on Friday, June 21, 1974. Mr. Knecht was a retired farmer from the Arlington area.

Services were held at 2:30 on Monday afternoon at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington with Rev. Donald Gesterling officiating. Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements with burial in the St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Mr. Knecht was born at Arlington June 1, 1891. On February 23, 1916 he was married to Emma Dahlkoetter, Mrs. Knecht passed away on October 10, 1972.

Survivors include three brothers and five sisters. The brothers are: Paul, Walter and Otto Knecht, all of Arlington. The sisters are: Mrs. Martha Hokamp, Mrs. Louise Hilgenkamp and Mrs. Elsa Greunke all of Arlington. Mrs. Mary Echtenkamp, Wayne, and Mrs. Rudolph (Anna) Greunke, Wayne.
