Above paragraph is same in this obituary. This article these two additional paragraphs. Two ladies visited the Home Sunday. We are informed one was a Mrs. Gates of the Tribune force, the other Miss Raver, who is a resident of Blair.

The chapel service Sunday afternoon was conducted by Rev. Underwood who preached from the 2nd. chapter of Philippians, showing that it is love that makes us endure sorrow and pain when our loved ones are in trouble and distress, hence the suffering and death of Christ for our gain. He pointed out that through the love of Christ that all the religious denominations were getting nearer together in Christian fellowship instead of ridiculing and throwing stones at each other, which course is unchristian like.
