Kin of Manley Fisher Killed In Explosion

Mr. and Mrs. Manley Fisher left for Chappell, Nebraska Monday, October 14th, after being notified of a tragic accident in which Mr. Fisher’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Knerr lost their lives; also Mr. and Mrs. Knerr’s daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lowell Knerr.

In preparing to move from their farm home to Chappell, Mr. and Mrs. Kneer and daughter-in-law were at the farm when an unexplained gas explosion occurred. Mr. Knerr was killed instantly and was buried on Wednesday, October 16th. His wife died on Tuesday, October 15th, and funeral services were held on Friday, October 18th. On Saturday, October 19th Mrs. Lowell Knerr passed away and burial was Monday, October 21st.

Mr. and Mrs. Knerr are survived by twin sons, Lowell and Lyle and two grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. Fisher returned to Blair Tuesday, October 22nd.
