Lila M. Benson, 49, of Blair, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, in Omaha.

A memorial service was held Monday, Feb. 9, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun.

Lila Mae Bastin was born June 18, 1959, in St. Cloud, Minn., to Lloyd and Inez Bastin.

She is survived by her husband, Carl; sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ann Benson, and Todd Benson, all of Lincoln; daughter, Amy Benson of Omaha; two grandchildren, Anissa Benson and Zachary Lindsey; sisters and brother-in-law, Robin Bastin of Hanover, Minn., Gloriann Bastin of Silverlake, Minn., Linda Rosenow of Hutchinson, Minn., Denise and Darril Brown of Milford, Ohio, and Sharon Bastin of Minneapolis, Minn.; brother, Al Bastin of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue Department.
