MRS. MERLE STEWART DIED SUDDENLY FRIDAY, APRIL 9th

Funeral services will be held Monday for Mrs. Merle Stewart, 70 years of age, who died of a heart attack Thursday evening at Memorial Community Hospital.

The services will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. William Shattuck officiating with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart is survived by one son, Jon Harold Stewart of Blair; daughters, Mrs. Pauline Varley of Blair; Mrs. Jean Colburn of Tennessee; Mrs. Janet Hurd of Casper, Wyoming; and Mrs. Marianne Berkley of Norfolk, Virginia; brothers, Ed Taylor of Denver; Carlton Taylor of California; Ivan Taylor of Iowa; and a sister, Mrs. Arlene Warrick of California; and 17 grandchildren.

Mrs. Stewart was a Blair business woman for several years operating the Stewart Pharmacy until she sold the business to Wayne Andreson a few years ago.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
