Linda L. Bettcher, 61, of Omaha, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Services were Monday, Feb. 9, at First Christian Church in Blair. Interment of her cremains was held at the Blair Cemetery.

Linda Bettcher was born Oct. 31, 1947, to Reynold and Agnes (Matill) Bettcher. She graduated from high school in Dubuque, Iowa.

She is survived by her children, Marcy and Steve Tierney of Blair; Angie and Nick Naseman of Colorado Springs, Colo., Eric Schmit of Omaha, and Wesley and Tina Schmit of Omaha; friends, Jim Mainelli; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Delores Corell, LeeRoy and Janette Bettcher; Darleene Bettcher, Roger “Buck” and Janice Bettcher, Judy and Tom Bauer, Katie and Melvin Deutmeyer, and Lester and Sue Bettcher, all of Dubuque, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and in-laws, Loretta and Harry Williams, Ed Corell, Milton Bettcher, Clarence Bettcher, and Wilfred” Willy” Bettcher.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
