One-Time Herman Woman Is Buried

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Sarah Ann Knott, one-time Herman area resident. Mrs. Knott was 86 years old, having been born at Salisbury, Missouri July 23, 1880.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lura Jackson of Brookfield, Mo. A son, Gene Freeman, whose address is not known, is believed to survive her.

Mrs. Knott’s first husband was D. G. Freeman who died many years ago. In 1920 she was married to Roy Knott who is also deceased.

Burial was made in the Herman cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Fink, Wallace Kruse, R. Clair Johnson, Joe Fitch, Fern West and Gilbert Potadle. The Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair was in charge.
