Earl E. Knudsen, 71

Earl E. Knudsen, 71, of Pueblo, Colo. died April 10, 2003 at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening.

Earl Emil Knudsen was born July 4, 1931, in Tekamah to Emil and Elsie (Rasmussen) Knudsen.

He attended school in Tekamah and worked in Omaha. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 until 1954 in the Occupational Troops in Germany. He also received the National Defense Services Medal and an occupational medal.

He was a retired truck driver and a resident of Colorado for more than 40 years.

He is survived by one son, David Knudsen of Henderson, Nev.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Dorothy Knudsen of Omaha, Jerry and Roberta Knudsen of Lakeport, Calif., and Vernon “Babe” and Marge Knudsen of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Hazel Gillliam of Omaha, and sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Bill Dixon of Blair, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother LaVern, and sister, Viola Murphy.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
