Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, at Campbell Funeral Home in Blair for Frode J. Knudsen, 75, of rural Washington County who died December 5, 1983, in Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

The Rev. Kurt Sortland will officiate. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

Frode J. Knudsen was born in Denmark April 8, 1908, to Hans and Johanna Black Knudsen. He came to Blair from Denmark when he was six years old and attended West and Brewster Schools.

He was a member of the Eagles.

He married Ethel M. Smith. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Alfred Knudsen, Blair, and Leonard Knudsen, Fremont; and two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Jean) Plant, Plymouth, New Hampshire; and Betty Minor, Blair. Twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gunnar Knudsen, De Witt, Iowa; and one sister, Inger Christensen, Herman, also survive him.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
