Mark J. Billeter died at his home in Kennard on Saturday, after a protracted struggle with a complication of diseases. Mr. Billeter was 49 years of age and leaves a wife and six children.

He came to Elkhorn City in 1855. During the war he served first in the 2nd Nebraska and later in another regiment. He was buried on Monday.
