LIFETIME KENNARD FARM RESIDENT, 68, DIED LAST THURSDAY MORNING

Funeral services for J. P. “Pete” Knudsen, 68-year-old farmer of southwest of Kennard, an account of whose death was published last week, were held at Emmaus Lutheran church in Kennard Saturday. The Rev. P. L. Thorslev, pastor, officiated, and burial was in Prairie View cemetery.

Mr. Knudsen, a lifetime resident of the original Knudsen farm, died last Thursday morning at Dodge County Community Hospital, Fremont, following a stroke.

He was born Dec. 11, 1878, as John Peter Knudsen, and as a young man was married to Dora Carlsen. He was a member of the Blair I.O.O.F. lodge.

Surviving Mr. Knudsen are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Verna Misfeldt of Washington and Mrs. Rosamond Desler of Omaha; and one son, Harvey Knudsen of Omaha; also 11 grandchildren.
