Services For Mary Knudsen To Be Thursday

Mrs. Mary Knudsen, age 83, widow of the late Louis Knudsen, passed away Sunday evening, October 31, 1976 at the Good Shepherd Home on Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. She was formerly of Fremont and Herman. She had been ill for some time.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 1976, at the Baeder-Rozanek-Lawson Funeral Home, Fremont, Nebraska. Officiating will be the Reverend Robert P. Hansen. Burial will be in the Orum Cemetery. Visitations began at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home in Fremont.

Mrs. Knudsen was born April 12, 1893, in Herman, Nebraska. She lived in the Herman area until 1950 at which time she moved to Fremont. She resided in Fremont for 22 years. In 1972, she moved to Minnesota to be with her sons, and lived there until her death, October 31, 1976. She and her husband, Louis, were married January 10, 1912, in Blair. He died September 5, 1972 in Fremont.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Knudsen of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Earl Knudsen of Waite Park, Minnesota. There are six surviving grandchildren and 17 great-grandchldren, one sister, Mrs. Emil (Elsie) Knudsen of Tekamah, Nebraska; and one brother, Henry Rasmussen of Omaha, Nebraska.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
