Agnes Grabow, 89

Agnes O. “Mickey” Grabow, 89, died April 22, 2015. She was born Jan. 18, 1926.

Mickey grew up in South Omaha, graduated from South High School, then joined the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps at Bishop Clarkson Memorial School of Nursing and graduated in 1947.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Joan; husband, Paul Grabow; parents, Vaclav and Ruzena Mikulecky; four brothers and a sister.

She is survived by son, John, and his wife, Becky; sister, Rose; grandchildren: Bethany, Emily, Julie, Jill and Serena; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

After a career of caring for others, Mickey donated her body to the Anatomical Board of the State of Nebraska. A memorial service will be held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. May 23.
