KATHRYN E. STEYER, 59

Kathryn E. Steyer, 59, of Blair, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were June 9 at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Kathryn Elaine Steyer was born July 1, 1944 in Grand Island, the second of four children born to Ralph and Frances Steyer. The family relocated to Blair in the early 1950s; Kathy subsequently lived most of her life in Blair and was a member of the Blair High School Class of 1963.

She was a long-time employee of Crowell Memorial Home.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Blair; Eastern Star; and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She had many friends throughout the community.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Russell Stone of Los Angeles; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Kate Steyer of Anchorage, Alaska; a niece, Jennifer Nemanich of Los Angeles; and nephew, Alex Steyer of Anchorage; and an extended family of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Steyer.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
