PHILIP STEYER, 86

Services for Philip Steyer, 86 of North Bend who died April 12, 1994 at his home were Saturday, April 16 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Ron Wakeman officiated. Burial was at Woodland Cemetery in North Bend.

Philip Steyer was born April 12, 1908 in Fort Calhoun and lived in Omaha until 1941. He sold and repaired motorcycles.

He moved to Los Angeles and worked in a cycle shop there and operated a service station. He later worked at a print shop. He returned to Nebraska in 1982 and had lived in North Bend since 1983.

He married Helen Jorgensen October 7, 1934 in Atlantic, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, Philip of Downey, California; a brother, Al of Papillion; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
