A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, for Ruth Coffee, 86, of Blair. Services will be held at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair with interment in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Ruth Coffee was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Wisner.

She married Russell E. Coffee Oct. 30, 1939, in Papillion. Mrs. Coffee lived in the Omaha, Fort Calhoun, and Blair area all her life.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun prior to moving to Blair in 1986, where she became a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.

She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell B. and Ann Coffee of Blair, and James and Mary Ann Coffee of Rochester, Minn.; five grandchildren; and a brother, John Rich of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; grandson, Chris; four sisters, Mary Striegel, Dorothy Hansen, Catherine Wahler, and Margaret Wiese.

Memorials are suggested to church Masses.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
