HARRY STILLMAN, 73

Harry E. Stillman, 73, Decatur, died on Tuesday evening, August 4, 1987, at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

He was born on February 7, 1914, at Decatur to Thomas and Nell (Farber) Stillman, and lived and worked in Decatur for most of his life, having worked for the Village of Decatur as City Electrician and later as the town’s Police Officer.

He was married to Frances May Lamson on June 13, 1948 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

He served in the United States Air Force in World War II and was a member of the R. L. D. S. Church in Decatur.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Stillman of Lincoln; one daughter, Virgie Lee Bligh of Decatur, and one son, Charles Stillman of California; three grandsons and one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Mary Busse of Sun City, California; and one brother, Ronnie Stillman of Santa Rosa, California.

It was his wish that his body be cremated.

A graveside committal service was held Saturday, August 8, 1987 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur with Elder Robert Stading officiating.

Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah was in charge of arrangements.
