MOTHER OF BLAIRITE DIED IN CALIF.; BURIED IN OMAHA
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Marie Stirek, 84 years of age, mother of Stanley Stirek of Blair, were being held Saturday in Omaha at the Brewer-Korisko chapel and St. Wenceslaus Church. Burial followed in the Bohemian Cemetery.
Mrs. Stirek died last Tuesday at Anaheim, California where she has been making her home with her daughter Mrs. Emil Brazda (Emma).
Other survivors include a son Louis of Griswold, Iowa; daughters, Mrs. Joseph Satrapa (Helen) and Mrs. Joseph Benak (Bessie), both of Omaha; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Stirek was born May 16, 1881 in Czechoslovakia. She married John Stirek on July 15th, 1907. They arrived in this country in 1907 and in 1909 moved to Omaha. Mr. Stirek died April 11, 1963.
