Beverly J. Phalen, 86

Beverly J. Phalen died Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Omaha. She was born October 24, 1928, in Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Patrick Phalen; siblings, Bud, Delores and Sug; great-grandson, Trenton; father, Clarence Owen Doty; and mother, Helen Anna Kahre. She is survived by her sons: John Patrick Phalen III, David Lee Phalen and Steven Michael Phalen; daughters: Roseann (Larry) Mason, Mary (John) Barry and Nancy Jean Phalen, all of Omaha; brothers, Pete (Joy) Doty of Lincoln; Dick (Shirley) Doty of California; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, with rosary service at 7 p.m., all at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home, Fort Calhoun.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fort Calhoun.

Interment will be at Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
