Carl B. Robinson, 81

Carl B. Robinson, age 81, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, May 3 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 15 at 2 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Carl Robinson was born on April 10, 1934, in Tekamah. He was one of eighteen children born to Merlin and Annie Ethel Robinson. He grew up in Tekamah where he married and joined the U.S. Army. Carl later joined the U.S. Navy where he volunteered for two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a master welder who received many letters of praise from his commanding officers for his outstanding work.

Carl married Sharon Bolton of Blair on July 29, 1977, in Elk Point, South Dakota.

Preceding Carl in death are his parents; sisters: Wanda Welch, Jean Peterson, Janet Perry, Pauline Rufer, Susan Martens, Violet (infant); and his brothers: Merlin Jr., Thomas, John, Jerry, Duane, Roger, David, and Keith.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sharon; three sisters: Lois Lowe (Ken), Joyce Gregory and Rachel Williams; four daughters: Lou Ann Fitchorn (Rick), Carla Corwine (Bob), Karen Ray (Mitch), and Peggy Petersen; three step-children: Terri Gayer (Curt), Tim Andersen (Michelle) and Todd Andersen; 26 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
