EILEEN BOHLING, 79

Eileen Bohling, 79, of Fremont, died March 15, 2009, at the A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont. Funeral services were Wednesday, March 18, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Hooper. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Eileen Bohling was born Feb. 22, 1930, on the family farm in Washington County, near Herman, to Henry and Ella (Busch) Bohling. She had attended the rural Wolf School and Immanuel Lutheran School.

She lived and worked with her brother, Raymond, on the farm near Hooper. Upon their retirement, approximately 12 years ago, they moved into Fremont.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Hooper, where she had been active in many of the church’s activities.

She is survived by her brother, Raymond.

Memorials are suggested to her church and to the Lutheran Hour.

Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
