Eggert Ohrt, age 64 years, Bennington, Neb. Survived by wife, Nancy; sons, Roland C., Millard, Neb., Ralph E. Omaha, Kenneth, Orleans, Neb; mother, Mrs. Minna, Blair, Neb; brother, Leroy, Caldwell, Idaho; 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services Wednesday 2pm St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bennington, Neb. Rev. Norman Schroeder, officiating. Interment German Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to St. John’s Lutheran Church or Bennington Rescue Squad.

#2 EGGERT OHRT, 64, DIES ENROUTE TO HOSPITAL

Mr. Eggert Ohrt of Bennington died enroute to an Omaha hospital on He was born September 21, 1903 to Mr. and Mrs. George Ohrt and married to Nancy Dornacker. They were the parents of three sons, Roland C. of Millard, Ralph E. of Omaha, and Kenneth of Orleans, Nebraska.

Mr. Ohrt farmed near Bennington and retired this spring. He and his wife moved to Bennington three years ago. Other survivors besides his wife and three sons are his mother, Mrs. Minna Ohrt of the Good Shepherd home, a brother Leroy of Caldwell, Idaho and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the St. John's Lutheran Church at 2 P.M. on August 28th. The Rev. Norman Schroeder officiated. The Hadan-Golden Mortuary was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the German Cemetery in Washington County.

Pallbearers were Terry Christensen, Daryl Cox, Robert Dornacher, Elmer Nelson, Ronald Zakaras and Herbert Gottsch.
