Nancy Knudsen, 57

Nancy Knudsen, 57, of Fremont, died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services were July 2 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment was at the Blair Cemetery.

Nancy A. Knudsen was born Dec. 5, 1943, to Chester and Marie Ann (McDonald) Spiker. She attended school in Spiker, and graduated from Blair High School in 1961.

On Sept. 16, 1997, she married Leonard Knudsen.

Mrs. Knudsen lived in Fremont for the last 15 years, where she operated a hair salon. She also worked at Long John Silver’s and as assistant manager at Arby’s the past three years.

She loved to go camping and fishing.

Mrs. Knudsen is survived by her husband, Leonard, son Tim Kruse of Omaha, and two step-daughters, Tammy Sill of Fort Calhoun, and Susie Kelly of Blair, and a sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bob Schmoll of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
