Vernon R. Knudsen, 75

Former Tekamah Resident

Former Tekamah resident Vernon R. “Babe” Knudsen, 75, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at his home in Onalaska, Texas, after a battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Margie, and two step-children; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Dorothy, of Omaha; two sister and a brother-in-law, Shirley and Bill Dixon of Blair, and Hazel Gilliam of Omaha; and many nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, his parents, three brothers and one sister.
