Funeral services were Tuesday, April 17 at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont for Helen F. Knutson, 79 of rural Little Falls, Minnesota, and formerly of Fremont who died April 13, 1990 in Minneapolis. Ron Kuhlman officiated. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery.

Helen F. Knutson was born September 26, 1910 in Fremont. She grew up there and in Kennard. She graduated from Kennard High School and worked in Fremont for the Gerald Sampter family.

She married Carl Knutson December 24, 1931 in Fremont. He preceded her in death in April, 1984.

They had farmed near Fremont, Arlington, Tekamah and Oakland before moving to Minnesota in 1973.

She is survived by four sons, Paul of Ogelsby, Illinois, Jerry of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Kenneth and Ray, both of Little Falls, Minnesota; two daughters, Pat (Mrs. Dallas) Hilgenkamp and Linda (Mrs. Gordon) Swanson, both of Uehling; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements for the services.
